2014 PCI Design Award Winner: Rich Street Bridge Columbus

The Rich Street Bridge in Columbus, Ohio, USA, won two different awards in the 2014 PCI Design Award Programm:
- Bridges with Main Span from 76 - 149 Feet Award
- All Precast Solution Award.

The Rich Street Bridge Columbus was built in 2012 as replacement of a deteriorated bridge across the Scioto River in the historic district of Columbus. The new bridge is a modern precast open rib arch structure with a total length of 171,6 m.
Tender design and detailed design of the superstructure by LAP in collaboration with Burgess & Niple, Columbus, Ohio.

The PCI Design Awards programm by the Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) recognizes design excellence and construction quality using precast concrete.
