Sava Bridge received mention

On 15 January 2013 the "Ingenieurpreis des Deutschen Stahlbaus 2013" was awarded for excellent engineering achievements by the "bauforumstahl e.V." at the Munich Fair "BAU 2013", the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials and Systems.

The Sava Bridge in Belgrade received a honourable mention in the category bridge design.

The Sava Bridge is the largest single pylon cable-stayed bridge being constructed in Europe so far. The 45 m wide and 376 m long steel deck of the main span is supported by 80 stay cables, anchored at the tip of the 200 m high concrete Pylon and counter-balanced by a post-tensioned concrete back span with the same outer dimension as the mainspan. The 200 m long backspan and the 340 m long approach span, a single cell concrete box, was incrementally launched from one side in about 20 m long stages.
