On 20th May 2008 the topping-out ceremony of the Grimm-Centre which will accommodate the new central library of the Humboldt University of Berlin will take place.
The building is situated in the heart of the city centre near the Friedrichstrasse station. The lower building part will accommodate the reading hall which expands upwards terrace-like and will be roofed by a extensively glassed coffered ceiling.
