Spinelli School Mannheim
The new building of the Spinelli School in Mannheim is an impressive example of modern architecture and innovative construction. A particularly notable feature is the use of wood as a sustainable and environmentally friendly building material. Wood not only offers an excellent CO2 balance but also contributes to a healthy indoor climate.
Wood is used in the facade as well as in the load-bearing elements of the building at the Spinelli School. Thanks to modern technologies (e.g., wood-concrete composite ceilings) and innovative structural design, an efficient and robust structure has been created that is both aesthetically pleasing and sustainable. The use of wood in the new building is not only a contribution to climate protection but also a step towards future-proof construction. The combination of structural planning and wood construction makes the new building of the Spinelli School a model project for sustainable building in Mannheim.
