Foundation stone laid for new Max Planck House central building in Tübingen

On 27.06.2023 the foundation stone ceremony for the new Max Planck Building in Tübingen took place in the presence of, among others, Mr. Cord Soehlke, Mayor of Tübingen, Prof.-Dr. Moritz Hardt, Director of the Institute for Intelligent Systems and Managing Director of Max Planck House, Ms. Angelika Malinowski, Head of Research Building and Infrastructure of the Max Planck Society, Ms. Sonja Krainhöfner, Head of Operations of Max Planck House and Albrecht Randecker, Architect BDA, Managing Partner of h4a Architekten.

The new central building on the Max Planck Campus in Tübingen is a representative multi-purpose building on the Max Planck Campus in Tübingen in a beautiful hillside location. The building offers a centrally located lecture hall on the first floor, a canteen kitchen and cafeteria in the garden or first floor, guest rooms and offices on the upper floors and corresponding technical and storage rooms with compact area of the library on the technical floor.
